We spent the morning moving about a foot of fresh, powdery snow off the driveway and want to let you know it will be great cross country skiing this weekend! Just an hour ago we drove by Hartman Creek State Park and saw someone in a steady rhythm skiing the trail  . . . it looked like fun! We’d love to have you stay with us this weekend and enjoy this winter wonderland! This picture is from the front porch looking north with the Crystal flowing toward us.  The little light on our walkway is nearly covered in snow! I saw a pair of ducks on the water this morning. Last evening a pair of deer walked behind the house – lots of birds and animal activity here . . .
